Self-empowerment in the digital era, interactive & reflective workshop with Nadja El Fertasi, NATO senior administrator, and Michaela Simakova, President of the Alumni Association & international security consultant

Yet another of the professional skills workshop and work-life balance series took place last week at the Association’s premises, located right next to the Schuman.

A small group of alumni had a chance to follow a workshop by Nadja and Michaela, reflect and brainstorm over what empowerment is about, to get on the journey of an empowerment mindset, unlocking own potential, both in private and professional settings. Empowerment matrix, different techniques related to different phases, food-for-through and a lot of examples and experience sharing, together with a practical exercise and proposed way forward with follow up activities marked this great evening, which we left with a smile and new inspiration for new projects and a greater self-awareness!

The next workshop of the series will be on Mindfulness and very practical ways how to reach it, with alumna, Beate Tuck, who is the director of Brussels Mindfulness. Click here to register for this event, which will take place on 21 November from 19hrs, at the Alumni Association.
