The brand new CoE Alumni in Competition group is a network of College of Europe Alumni active in competition policy in academia, private practice, national competition authorities and the European Commission. The purpose of the group is to stimulate an open and honest intellectual debate on current competition issues.
We will organise roundtable discussions with a strict 'no quote rule' aiming at improving competition policy enforcement and practice. We would like to connect the more senior Alumni, be it enforcers, partners at law firms or judges, as well as some external experts with younger professionals through discussions on most topical cases, recent decisions, controversial practices and new market developments. Our aim is to create a safe space for competition professionals – lawyers, economists and policy experts – to make a positive impact on competition policy enforcement and practice.
