No matter where you are, you can connect with fellow Anciens worldwide, via our platform, regional groups or simply, by sending us an email. Reach out or connect to our Alumni online community platform. I encourage you to reconnect with your fellow College friends, get their news and see if they are doing well. Beyond, you can help more locally, for instance via the Welcome in Brussels Hub space. This virtual space is here to serve our wider community to mobilise to help each other to face the hardship, be in material or more spiritual manner.

Let me also encourage you to support your local institutions and entities fighting the pandemic – numerous hospitals launched calls for donations, let us contribute to strengthen the resilience and response of our societies! Please be also very careful about the so-called "infodemic or rumours, misinformation and hoaxes" about Covid-19 spread. These are dangerous and can have an important impact on how the future is shaped. What kind of world we will be living in once the storm is over, is being decided now, as emergencies accelerate decisions and processes. It is today that we are shaping the new “back to normal world - let’s think solidarity that remains global, let’s empower and be empowered citizens.

Many of you may wonder about our flagship 2020 Anniversary dinners and celebrations. We are strongly committed to safe events for all. Our team of volunteers continues to monitor closely the COVID-19 developments and its possible impact on the 2020 anniversary celebrations. We will inform alumni in due time about any possible changes and necessary measures. In case of concerns, contact us at anciens@coleurope.eu.

The 2020 General Assembly, including the election of the next president and alumni to join the great team of administrators, is planned for June 4. My intention is to run this open reunion either traditionally in person or virtual. You can join your Alumni Association by sending us a brief application at anciens@coleurope.eu before May 19.

Your Alumni Association
